Client Focus - Guy Fieri

In 2006 Guy Fieri won season two of The Next Food Network Star. Since then his rapid rise from restaurateur and local business man to nationally recognized star has posed a number of interesting opportunities and challenges for us.
Recently TIV has rethought the brand that is Guy Fieri:

Our first hurdle was to figure out a way to connect all of Guy’s various ventures visually. We had Guy’s restaurants, Guy on Food Network, Guy the performer and Guy’s new merchandise line called Knuckle Sandwich. All are separate, but needed a visual connection.

We decided Guy’s signature was the natural solution.

We then worked closely with Guy to develop a Creative Style Guide to provide to the various entities using the logos and artwork.

The next challenge was to maintain the edge of Guy, a heavily tattooed motor head, while showing his family-friendly side...oh and he’s a chef too, right?

Sound complicated? Strangely, the more we immersed ourselves in the various projects, the web site being primary, it all fit together quite nicely.
